I am a 27 year old photographer and graphic designer currently residing in San Francisco. I grew up in Palos Verdes, California and headed east for school. I attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and received my BA in Studio Art with a minor in Education. At college, I took numerous photography classes and learned to develop my own film. I spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy studying the Italian Renaissance, the culture and photography. After Graduation in 2002, I taught art for two years to 6-13 year olds at the Whitby School in Greenwich, Connecticut and continued to travel and take photographs in my free time. In August 2004, I left the country for 11 months and moved to Bath, England where I completed a full time (M-F, 9am-4pm) art and design course at the City of Bath College. I loved the tiny streets, architecture, and historic buildings -all of which made for some great photographs. In March 2006, I made an unforgettable trip to Cuba. For two weeks, I traveled with three other photographers taking pictures of the people we met and the towns we explored. Please take a few minutes to check out my Cuba section on this website. It is a culture that, unfortunately, not too many Americans have the opportunity to experience, but it is filled with beauty, hope and spirit. This past summer I traveled to Brazil for the first time and recently uploaded some photographs from that trip. Not sure where I am traveling to next, but can't wait to go!
Photography has always been a passion of mine. I never leave home without my camera, and I am always looking for a photographic opportunity! Thanks for looking at my site!
